This is a proof of concept, ported by Wert of iSoftTeam. The iPhone 3GS, which clocks at 600 MHz is capable of running both versions of the ported OS’es but not so smoothly. Basic applications such as the calculator and paint run as they would on the original OS except a bit slower. Check it out:

Well, here we go again, after the successful release of OS 3.0, Apple is at work on FW 3.1. They have currently seeded 3 betas to developers and a September release date is expected, along with possibly a new iPod Touch. The new iPod Touch will supposedly have a camera and mic allowing for phone calls via VOIP and also 64 GB worth of space.
